I've been working on a new toy for the site, a map of where everyone is from!
You can see it live at: http://www.nb-yc.co.uk/membermap
It takes the location from your user profile puts a dot on the map with your name attached. Its not perfect yet, so I haven't linked it to the main page. For example, if you have the same location as someone else, only one of you shows up. I'd just like to get an idea of what people think.
Feel free to reply to this topic with ideas. If you don't show up on the map, check the location on your member profile.
Could come in handy for arranging lifts, etc.

I've updated the map, it now groups people from the same location together, and links to their profiles.

I've made the map live. Will still be tweaking it a bit, but I figured it was ready now
The map will only display people I've listed as singing members. So if you've filled in your Location and still don't appear, let me know and I'll look into it.
I'm also planning to re-jig some of the stuff on the top menu, adding a page about joining the chorus, bookings, etc. So please keep the ideas coming. If two heads are better than one, a lot of heads gotta be good, right?
