Cant wait either its gonna be ace.

 Just a reminder that we are singing Bright was the NIght followed by South Rampart Street. So get your teaching aids out and listen to your part over and over again between now and next week. Hopefully we'll have a room available for rehearsal friday evening to polish our performance. Keep eyes and ears on phones and check here daily as well as your emails for further details.

Now i know we all like a drink especially at Barbershop do's but please be responsible on Friday evening. It would be a complete disaster to go out on stage saturday dehydrated or worse...hungover.

I'll be down thursday too along with RichW so would be nice to get together for a bit of chin wag with who ever else is there.

I'm pretty excited. Getting there on the Friday morning, ready to support Cadence, This Way Up, Rough cut and my dad in SHQ Too. (He's like me only a bit older, lower voice, more resonance)

Oh and also to sing in my quartet SHQ.

Hello gentlemen!

Just letting you know the details for friday night in scarborough.

We will meet at 6:30pm at reception in the convention centre.  We'll be taken to where we'll be rehearsing for about an hour (so you can see you eve show if you intend to)

We will also meet at 11pm in the bar to

1. Go over details for saturday morning (when & where etc) and

2. Sing in the bar cos its god to be seen.

Stage gear will be:

The new black shirts (if you don't have one, you'll be given one friday night).  These will be out, not tucked in.

Black TROUSERS, not jeans. 

Black shoes, not trainers or patent ones.

Necklaces are fine, and no watches on stage.

Remember to go over the moves for south rampart street, if you don't know them, all someone who does.

See you in scarborough guys, lets get better than 4th this year!

What an awesome weekend!

Congratulations to This Way Up on their first medal, no doubt the first of many!

Also congratulations to Cadence and Rough Cut who both had pretty impressive first outings!

The Youth Chorus improved on their marks from last year, nice to know we're making progress.

Can't wait until next year!

I hope to see lots of you at prelims this year too so if you're not in a quartet "get involved" in the words of Andy Allen!
